Product Description

IEC60335-2-17 Figure BB.1 to BB.3 Equipment for the mechanical strength test of blankets

1. Introduction

The blankets mechanical strength test apparatus is designed according to IEC60335-2-17 clause 21.102 and Annex BB.1 to BB.3. It’s used for mechanical strength test by simulating the actual use of the blanket. Pulling the blanket by the driving bar, the driving sprocket operating at a speed of 33r/min. Rotated the blanket 1000 times with an end attached to the driving bar and then turned through 90° and rotated another 1000 times.

FAQ

Q1: What is the purpose of the IEC60335-2-17 mechanical strength test apparatus?

A1: The IEC60335-2-17 mechanical strength test apparatus is designed to simulate the actual use of blankets to test their mechanical strength. It ensures that blankets meet the required durability standards by subjecting them to a series of rotations and pulls.

Q2: What is the maximum size of the blanket that can be tested using this apparatus?

A2: The maximum size of the blanket that can be tested using this apparatus is 2100mm by 2000mm.

Q3: How does the driving sprocket operate during the test?

A3: The driving sprocket operates at a speed of 33 revolutions per minute (rpm). It pulls the blanket and rotates it 1000 times with one end attached to the driving bar, then turns it through 90° and rotates another 1000 times.

Q4: What is the force applied by the hardwood cylindrical on the drum?

A4: The force applied by the hardwood cylindrical on the drum is 5.1 Newtons.

Q5: What are the dimensions of the rotating drum?

A5: The dimensions of the rotating drum are Ø160mm in diameter and 2000mm in length.

Q6: What type of rubber spheres are used in the test?

A6: The rubber spheres used in the test have a radius of 30mm and a hardness of 40-50HR.

Q7: What is the weight of the blanket used in the test?

A7: The weight of the blanket used in the test is 6kg per meter or a total mass of 6.5kg.

Q8: How long does a typical test cycle last?

A8: A typical test cycle lasts for 1000 rotations, which can be set up to 9999 times. The test time is adjustable according to the specific requirements.

Q9: What is the power supply requirement for the apparatus?

A9: The power supply requirement for the apparatus is AC 220V/50Hz.

Q10: What are the overall dimensions of the test apparatus?

A10: The overall dimensions of the test apparatus are 2500mm in length, 800mm in depth, and 2500mm in height (LDH).
